The new musical of Andrew Lloyd Webber bacame a real triumph in London [0] - 23.01.2025
New Andrew Lloyd Webber’s musical (“Love Never Dies”) turned out to have a great success in London. Its opening night took place in the Adelphi Theatre located on the famous British Strand Street.According to ITAR-TASS, final concords of the splendid performance were greeted with fervour and received even a rare standing ovation for London stages.
“I’m very happy!” - said Andrew Lloyd Webber after an unreal achievement.
“Love Never Dies” is a continuing story of his, perhaps, the best musical ever - “The Phantom of the Opera”.
This time, however, the action of the new story is set in New York City. The performance itself is distinct in drama and unexpected plot with many twists. Critics mark that Lloyd Webber’s music talent in this work riches the crest of his best musicals. The musical have been prepared with great care by an excellent group. There were made even special focus groups of audience on which “the degree of emotional impact” was tested. And as the result of it the ending of the performance was changed for three times to make it more impressive and psychologically repleted.
The interest to this musical is so formidable that the tickets have been already sold for some months forward.
In the near future the performance will be staged in NYC and Australia.
