Traffic is Easy! Oklahoma has the longest stretch of the ‘Historic Route 66’ with roads that are easy to drive with less time consuming traffic jams than other cities such as Los Angeles and New York City.
Centrally Located! Because Oklahoma is centrally located in America, it makes popular travel destinations across America less time consuming and more affordable to each side of the coast either by plane or car.
Big Cities are only hours!! More popular cities such as Dallas, Houston, St. Louis, New Orleans, Chicago, and even the gulf beach in Galveston, Texas can all be driven in hours or less than a day and make excellent road trips across America!
Air is clean!! One of the great things Oklahoma has to offer is an abundant country side with very clean air, lakes, and water. There is little pollution from industrial manufacturers and auto traffic and there is plenty of sunshine all year long. You will breathe easy in Oklahoma!
Rent is Cheap!! Oklahoma is a very affordable place to live. For example, a 2-bedroom apartment can be found for around $500 a month. Similar size apartments in other cities like New York or Los Angeles would cost $1000 or $1500 or more!!
Cost of Living is lower!! Overall cost of living is cheaper in Oklahoma. Therefore, your dollars will go further, because gasoline is less expensive and beef and food is also less costly because we have many farms and ranches inside the state.
A Great Place to Live! With the lower cost of living, Oklahoma is a great place to raise a family and one of the few states left where it is possible to purchase a starter home with monthly payments that are very affordable.
Therefore, with all of these reasons, if you are the student looking for an American state to receive a quality education at an affordable price, you should consider Oklahoma and discover the heartland of America!
