REPRESENT ULYANOVSK! [0] - 07.07.2025

The Delegation of the European Commission to Russia under the assistance of ECORYS-NEI and German Russian Exchange provides perfect opportunities for students and post-graduates of international relations, history, law, economics and related subjects to get an in-depth knowledge of the recent developments in the EU and the EU-Russia relations by organizing EU Study Weeks and Study Weekends in different regions of Russia. The main aim of the project according to the EU officials is to enlarge the understanding of the EU functions and engage young Russian leaders in serious discourse.
Seven students of Ulyanovsk State University didn’t miss their chance and took part in EU Study Weeks held in Yoshkar-Ola 21-25 July 2008. I was among those lucky too! Two more members of Gaudeamus editorial staff – our chief editor Lena Albutova and a press photographer Maksim Bikmurzin took part in the Yoshkar-Ola School . For 5 days the top-class lecturers from the leading Russian Universities and EU gurus have been at our complete disposal! We worked all together, pooling our knowledge of European Union, discussing the lectures and enjoying interacting with each other. The programme of the School not only caused lively debates but also enabled students to gain hands-on experience by making presentations themselves.
Why don’t you take the initiative and do your best to get accepted to the next session held in Rostov-on-Don 17-19 October (organized by German Russian Exchange) or in
Your future depends on you! Don’t take our words for granted! Experience it yourself!
