In February a few representatives from Canada came to our school. The purpose of their visit was to tell us about school in Canada, named ILAC (International Language Academy of Canada).What is special about this school is that students from different countries study together and methods of studying are not usual. They are all innovative. Moreover all people around you speak English. It helps students learn language faster than in any courses in other country. The most interesting and exciting fact is that besides studying, you’ll go on an excursion and also you’ll have a chance to do what you want, for example shopping, sunbathing and so on. There are different options of accommodation that you can choose, like what city would you like to go Toronto or Vancouver and where would you prefer to stay with a host family or in a Residence.
Tatiana, one of the representatives, who works and lives in Canada, said that students with a zero level of English do the summer course successfully and their level increases. Not less important fact is that all teachers in ILAC are well-qualified and can find approach to any student.
So after the presentation I interviewed Tatiana, you can see this interview below. - So where were you born?
- I was born in a capital of the Russian Federation. In Moscow.
- Ok. And how did you get to the Canada?
- Well, firstly I studied English seriously, than I went to some countries, where the English language is native, and Canada was one of them. So next time, when I went to Canada, I got an offer to work in ILAC, I agreed and than I just immigrated.
- And how old were you, when you decided to learn English?
- In fact I decided to learn English seriously in 8 class, but my first training in a foreign country was probably in 10 class.
- And where have you been at first time?
- If I’m not mistaken it was Malta, and you know, I visited a lot of different countries, but I couldn't speak like a native speaker, before I went to Canada.
- Why? I thought that the best English practice you can get in UK or USA. Am I right? /b>
- In fact you can just learn how to speak fluently, but in Canada language is more clean and clear, I mean it’s easy to understand it.
