Student Conference in Maribor, Slovenia - 09.02.2025

SCiM (Student Conference in Maribor) is student conference organized by Student organization of University of Maribor. First SCiM was organized 14 years ago. Since that time we have been discussing topics, which are provocative and interesting. We have been solving problems concerning nationalism, student mobility and student national policies. We talked about integration of higher education and future of Europe, public access to education, student mobility, employment and unemployment.

During SCiM participants are staying in student dormitory and have 3 meals a day (breakfast, lunch and dinner). Participants don’t pay nothing. We cover accommodation, food, organization,… The only thing that participants have to care off by themselves is transportation to Maribor.
Eligibility

Students from as many different countries as possible will be selected, based on their motivation letters.

You have to arrange your own travel.
Accommodation, food, program activities and trip around Slovenia are provided by the organizers.
