Lernen: Zwei Training events in Bruessel im Oktober - 31.07.2025
/How to Manage a European Commission funded Project/Brussels, 26th and 27th October 2010 (2 days)
Within the context of the European Neighbourhood Policy, the European
Commission has increased its interest in projects that involve East
European partners. There is a wide range of funding programmes that
open possibilities of coopertion and development in these countries.
The problem is that the different rules and procedures appear complex
and it is important to anticipate and minimise the contractual and
financial management risks of a project. If your organisation
receives funding from the European Commission for development
cooperation projects or is willing to receive, if you want to
increase the technical efficiency of the management of your projects,
this training course will help you. The rules of EC grant management
are difficult to get a grasp on, they are ever changing, and EC
project- management is highly demanding. The success of your EC
project depends entirely on the quality of your staff and their
ability to understand the rules and manage the project. This two-day
intensive management training aims at assisting you with the
effective management of your EC-funded project.

/Management skills training course: Key Techniques for Managing
NGOs/Brussels, 25th October 2010
Our professional world has changed significantly in the last few
years and is constantly evolving. The skills needed for managing a
unit, a team, or an entire organization are often neglected in
today's information-heavy, fast-paced environment. You may already be
a good manager looking to enhance or update your knowledge and
skills; or you find yourself in a new or first-time management
position in need of a comprehensive introduction to professional,
practical tools and techniques for NGO management. This comprehensive
course provides you with the core knowledge, practical skills, tools
and techniques to effectively manage and lead a nonprofit
organisation. This training brings something new, allowing you to re-
think the key techniques for an efficient, effective management.
Beyond this, you will see how to win time to free yourself to focus
on the bigger picture -- a vision for your future in tune with the
overall strategy of the organisation -- by developing your potential
and that of your colleagues.
